How much does a trip to Dubai cost per day?
Our estimate is about AED 380 per person per day on a budget (sharing a room), AED 955 mid-range and AED 3,050 for luxury, covering a hotel, food, getting around and a few paid sights. Big extras like a desert safari, Burj Khalifa or Friday brunch can be added in the calculator.
Is Dubai expensive for tourists?
It can be, but it doesn't have to be. Hotels are cheapest in summer, the Metro is cheap, and street food, the souks, the Dubai Fountain, the Creek abras and public beaches cost little or nothing. Alcohol, brunches and beach clubs are where budgets go.
When are Dubai hotels cheapest?
In the summer months (June to September), when temperatures pass 40°C (104°F). Prices peak from December to March, especially over New Year and during big events.
What fees are added to Dubai hotel bills?
Expect VAT, service charges and the Tourism Dirham fee per room per night, which depends on the hotel's star rating. Check the total at booking; our hotel estimates include typical taxes and fees.
